AhlulBayt News Agency: A Quran recitation session will be held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) in Rey, south of Tehran, on Thursday evening.
It will take place on the eve of the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
The Imam Khomeini (RA) Shabestan (hall) of the holy shrine will host the Quranic event.
It will include recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mehdi Shayeq and Seyed Mohammad Mousavi, two of the country’s distinguished qaris.
Also, the Subhan Tawasheeh group will perform religious songs on the auspicious occasion of the birth of Imam Hussein (AS) in this Quranic gathering.
At the end of the program, prizes will be awarded to a number of attendees by drawing lots.
The third day of the lunar Hijri month of Shaaban, which falls on Friday, January 23, this year, marks the birthday of Imam Hussein (AS).
